New Light

Do you ever read through the Bible, and then you read one passage, and suddenly get revelation from it, and you are so amazed about what God has said, and done?

Imagine getting a constant bombardment of it!!!

I've been reading through the New Testament with a different perspective. For the last couple of years I have been growing in the belief that God supplied healing for all, and he doesn't pick or choose who gets healed and who doesn't. I've also been discovering the simplicity of the nature of God, and all he has planned for us. God is a good God, the Devil is a bad Devil! God does not put hardships in our way to test us. But rather he can take any situation that is thrown at us, and turn it around to our benefit!

As I delve more and more into this realisation, I am absolutely stunned and in awe of God's goodness. The "Good News" is thrown into a completely new dimension! Yes, it partially covers the redemption from sins, but it also covers healing, delivery from demons, prosperity. God has GOOD THINGS in store for me and DOES NOT make my life hard! We're the ones making it hard, by complicating everything we deal with with our own little politics!
I tell ya! I've been brought up in a Christian environment that taught that God doesn't heal every time, and he puts hardships in our way to help us learn lessons! NOTHING could be further from the truth.
2 Timothy 3:16 says "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right." (New Living Translation).

1 Corinthians 10:13 also says "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." (NIV)

Just because you are tempted, don't assume it was God who tempted you! In the same way also, if you don't get healed, don't assume that God didn't heal you. God has provided healing for everyone when Christ died on the cross. (By his stripes we were healed). Just because you haven't received doesn't mean God hasn't supplied... it means something has stopped/delayed it!

The more I've been reading in this new light, the more I've been blown away by everything I've reading in his word. Woohoo!!!
